I actually spoke with one on the phone the other day. I am cultivating at home too but it is great to have help with learning the mantras and mudras. I was very happy to see that some of the mantras you can hear on the TBS main website and now that I have you guys to help provide more english translations I feel very fortunate. Thank you so much for your wellingness to help. ;) I look forward to learning a lot from your new site!
Question: Is it important to say mantras in thier native language?

Feng Qing - It appears to be a list of buddha's, bodhisattvas and mahasattvas, it starts with Root Guru Living Buddha Lian Shen then fundamental Teacher Shayamuni Buddha, Bhaisajya Medicine Buddha so on...now that you have advised me about "formal group" practice I tend to think maybe this is also a part of maybe what is done in a more formal and group cultivation. I am sorry I don't have an english term for this.

- There are wonderful Buddhas' names that I invoke, but I have no idea what they look like, or have I ever heard of them before. Are all the Buddhas named described somewhere?
