Sister Amitofo/Mimosa and all:
I purposely choose this day (Jan 9, 2002 of lunar-solar calendar) to congradulate you guys open up this translation site and to say happy new year!
As you may have already known, the number 9 is a magic number in Chinese -- it means supremacy, longivity, infinity, and blessings. Furthermore, today is the day the Jade Emperor was born, the supreme godhead of all celestial gods in the Tai Ji astral plane.
I hope that by congradulating you guys on this day, you get the greatest blessings from Grandmaster Lu and as well as the Jade Emperor and all the gods.
Here's a fun part about the magic number 9:
1+2+3+4...+8+9=45, 4+5=9
360 (One cycle), 3 + 6 + 0 = 9
9*9=81, 8+1=9
2*9=18, 1+8=9
9*8=72, 7+2=9
;D
Again, may all the dharma brothers/sisters on this site receive the greatest blessings. Also, may this site be a guiding light for those who seeks spiritual growth. May everthing be Ji Xiang Yuan Man (perfectly auspicious).
With regards,
Dong Fang Bu Bai
