jessie_seow03/13/02 at 00:58:25#1just had a bad day. My colleague just changed a lot of my work just now. Even though i am very experienced, I am new to the company.
Ego bashing, cos my reputation for knowing what i am doing is down the drains... Yet, I must always rememeber that ego is impermanent and I shouldn't feel attached to it... Wow, what a way to train myself. miserable, yet i mustn't be because that is a sign of self-ego
SIGH!
what a sad day
jessie_seow03/13/02 at 01:02:58#2Re: bad day, ego-bashingi know what i will do...Grandmaster used to say that when someone scolds u, u should be happy because he/she is cleansing your karma for u. similarly, when someone changes your work, i must take it in a positive light...

I hope that you are feeling better after getting it off your chest.
I have the opposite problem. One of my co-worker really has a strong man ego but he doesnt know much. Today, something was really screwed up, I told my boss. My boss called him to the office. As he explained the situation, I proved that everything that he said was wrong. He almost killed me....I really ought to keep my mouth shut!
anyway, being new is nervous. I was there before, nobody trusted me to handle the work, I didnt even trust myself. people bet that I would leave in 3 months. All other people before me quit already or hired by my boss. ..hahaha.
Howeve, if you know yourself, in no time, you will shine!!
Hang in There!!
