My sister and friends are going to print thousands  copies of yellow Jambhala cards that people can carry with them in their purse/wallet. The cost is actually very low, but the merits are great!

I am not soliticiting money here :-) Actually, we will be giving away the Yellow Jambhala cards. My sister can not translate, but she is quite supportive of my translation endeavor. She insists to put some English descriptions on the back of the card. I just wrote it, please double check and see if I should change/add the wording. (dance may find some of my typo :-)
the card is very small, and the other half is Chinese, so please dont add too much words to it.

Hi Mimosa,

Ok, here we go:

Yellow Jambhala is the manifestation of Vaisravana and one of the Four Heavenly Kings. Yellow Jambhala protects Buddha Dharma and bestows wealth and fortune to those who recite his epithet and mantra.

Heart Mantra: Om Jambhala Jalenjanaye Svaha.*

*May I suggest: Om, jam-bah-la, jan-lan-jan-ah-yeh, svaha.

I hope you and your sister have a happy Yellow Jambhala time!

my turn..

"Yellow Jambhala is the manifestation of Vaisravana and one of the Four Heavenly Kings."

This could either mean that he IS one of the four heavenly kings, or that he is a manifestation of one of the four heavenly kings (along with Vaisravana).  Assuming choice one, recommend adding an extra "is" - and is one of the four...

"Yellow Jambhala protects Buddha Dharma "
personal preference - I prefer "the Buddha Dharma"; either is OK.

Yes I am with Dance on this one.
From being around a lot of Chinese speaking people, there is a bad tendancy to leave out the word "the".  I am notorious for saying I am going to temple rather than going to the temple.
Bad grammer.
My husbands first language is not English either
and I hear the same sorts of grammer mistakes although I tend to correct them with him and rarely fall into using them.

id jus like to add...
i think most languages find "the" redundant so they tend to leave it off when learning english... if you look at how many the's you find when we talk its ridiculous sometimes... lol
