Hey Brenda, I don't know if anybody has ever told you that you can have remote empowerment of the Ushnisha Vijaya Dharma Practice from Grand Master.  In case if you don't know now I am letting you know.

East.

After you told me abou the practice, you did say that empowerment was needed.   I wrote into Seattle for empowerment right away.
What I was given is called "Unisha Vijaya Dharani Mantra Recitation Blessing".  Is this the same thing?

Thank you.

Brenda

"Unisha Vijaya Dharani Mantra Recitation Blessing" only allows you to recite the mantra; it DOES NOT allow you to practice the yoga practice!

According to Issue #23 of the "Lamp Ignition Magazine" (which is one of the most important TBS media source), you can now ask for the "Unisha Vijaya Yoga Practice" empowerment from Grand Master Lu by sending your request to the main chapter in Redmond, Seattle.

I wish you luck in getting the empowerment from Grand Master. :)

Invincible East,
You mentioned about sending a letter to GM to Redmond for empowerment. What if we just want to send regular letters and stuff, will he receive them if he is not there. Should we still send letters to GM then? How long does he take to reply? Does he personally respond in writing or is there a yogic response? You would think the most famous living-buddha today would have so much fan mail!!! As well, he is so busy.

I have contemplated sending him some fan mail but I don't know if it is different than praying to him in front of an altar.

Lyciss,

If no body is around to tell you the significance of cultivating this dharma practice, I guess I will step in and explain about it a little bit.  However, due to the time constrain during weekdays, I'll have to gather some related material and translate it into English for you and for those who are interested this weekend.

I still have a folder full of info thanks to you East!

If you can give Lyciss a brief rundown, if that is possible, I would be happy to email him all I have.

Thank you.

Celestialmaiden,

It is true that Grand Master no longer resides in Redmond, WA.  However, He has already reached unification with the Universal Truth.  Any person who achieves this level will have countless transformation bodies and dharma protectors.  Such transformation bodies and protectors have telepathic abilities.  When you think about writing a letter and ask for the empowerment, they will let Grand Master know; Grand Master'll have His means of granting you the empowerment once your letter is received by the main chapter in Redmond.

As far as writing regular letters to Seattle is concerned, there are bikshus, bikshunis, and lay TBS dharma brothers and sisters who are available and who will be answering your questions.

And yes, you can pray to Him in front of the altar anytime you want, and please do so as oftenly as possible. :)

Regards,
