In a dream, my husband Bert found himself in a jungle, under a tree, speaking to a young Buddhist monk about 20 years old, when they heard a loud noise.  Many animals were running towards them as they were running away from a forest fire.  The young monk then vanished.

Bert ran and found a fence and climbed it.  He found himself in what was like a tennis court with a chair up high to sit on.  There were many many alligators beneath him.
He was frightened of the alligators.  The same Buddhist monk appeared and said not to fear the alligators because they were simply a projection of the mind like a reflection in the mirror doesn't exist so the same for the alligators.

He then showed him his hands.  He held out one hand and said, "this is the I" (ego) then held out the other hand and said, "this is the it" (alligator) then he brought his two hands together and said "they became oneness".  The monk then vanished.  Then the alligators vanish too.  Bert realized that he was fabricating reality not the way it really is.
For in an ego state of mind, he was frightened, emotional, but as soon as the monk showed him about oneness Bert understood from the Buddhamind his inner nature.

Bert should charge admission to his dreams!
Thank you for sharing.
Dreams are so private until they are told; now this is our dream.
