jessie_seow05/05/02 at 04:13:33#1have u ever been accused of doing something wrong -- actually u were doing nothing wrong -- yet, the accuser can twist facts such taht the accuser makes it sound he is right? What's more, the accuser attacked your integrity as a Buddhist because of his accusations, and questioned the use of visiting chapters since my integrtiy is in doubt?

this is another case of the three blind men who touch the elephant in different spots and they each discribe the elephant differently by their personal interpretation... they were only discribing a small piece and thinking it was the whole thing... this isnt fully acurate to do... so you shouldnt do it...
how does it relate to your problem? well when people look at your actions and accuse you of doing something wrong and comes up with useless facts just to sound right... there is motivation behind this... some people thrive off verbal karma this is a verbal mara positive karma drain... any time someone attacks your integrity they are only seeing a small piece of the whole picture so how accurate can they really be? a master is the only person who can see your whole picture but will tell you only the small piece you need to know... while everyone else sees a small piece and trys to tell you about the whole picture...
i say doubt is good it gives you "aim" when you can extinguish all your doubts youll reside in wisdom... so doubt can be good and bad... its how you handle the doubt that is important... the buddha himself said to explore other teachers, if it is useful to your enlightenment then its good and if its not useful to your enlightenment then how will it benifit you or others?
you dont need teachers if you can realize your true nature... the teacher only points at your true nature, are you looking at his finger or what hes pointing at? peoples critsism can be a useful tool if you dont hold onto the words as if they are weapons but rather a mirror to your "minds state" are you being too proud? this is a mind state... im no master... just reflection of Grand Masters amazing Dharma Power... if im getting it wrong please forgive me... if im right and it helps then dont thank me... i dont deserve it...
hope this helps...
