Youth wants to know!
It is unusual for us to promote a non-TBS book on the web page, so I am wondering about the pedigree of the Tsongkhapa book.  Who is recommending it?  Who has read it?  How did it end up on our page?  Can anyone say anything about the book from actually having read it?
AND we get a discount too!

The Six Yogas of Narupa (Inner Heat, Illusory Body, Clear Light, Consciousness Transference, Forceful Project, and Bardo Yoga) represent one of the most popular Tibetan Buddhist presentations of yogic technology. Given by the Indian sage Naropa to Marpa the Translator, these teachings gradually pervaded thousands of monasteries and hermitages throughout the Tibetan cultural region.

Tsongkhapa's discussion of the Six Yogas is regarded as one of the finest on the subject to come out of Tibet. His treatise has served as the fundamental guide to the system as practiced in more than three thousand Gelukpa monasteries, nunneries and hermitages across Central Asia over the past five and a half centuries. Tsongkhapa's Six Yogas Of Naropa is an essential component of any comprehensive Buddhist studies collection.

thank you for your prompt consideration of this matter,

Tom puts this book up. I didnt know about it until yesterday.
I have a hard time locating him these few days. I think that he is overwhemled with personal matters.

I personally think that as a Tantric students, we should read as much as we can. As long as the teaching is good, I dont object to list non-TBS books on our page. Do you? (I am just curious) But, it has to be religion related.

I don't object.  I didn't mean to sound like I was objecting, but re-reading my post, it does sound like I think something fishy is going on.  I am more curious than worried.

As the first and only non TBS book (so far), this book seems to carry a unique significance.  I am inclined to buy it just because it is listed amongst all GM's available books.  By implication, it is something good to be familiar with.  I hope Tom will find the time to give some personal comment on the book, why this book, amongst so many others, has been valuable to him.  Maybe someone else is familiar with it too? When Tom has lots of time (probably after cloning is perfected), maybe he could include other non-TBS works and commentary as to how they add valuable perspective and information to our empty minds.  Also somehow differentiate GM's works and works of related but non-affiliated authors.

aside - I will soon have an "autographed" copy of  Words of my Perfect Teacher - one of my non-TBS Lama friends is one of the "four Jigme's" who gave the oral teaching upon which the book is based.

#I read your post couple of times. I was not sure if you were objecting or what. That was why I asked. I dont mind if you object, you are entitled to express your opinion. I just want to know. But, in this case, you are just curious. Thanks for making it clear.

#I will ask him. I too have the same questions. I am actually waiting for him to liste more books so I can buy more at the same time. we can share the 10% discount again! haha

Hello all!!

I'm back!!! ;D

I think as long as we keep our Grand Master Lu's books separated from the other books it would still be fullfiling our goal.

I personaly like Milarepa,  although I have his book.

Still Grand Master Lu books are the ones I hold deeply in my heart and I treasure and always go back to because it seems even after I read a book of his there is always the second time and third time ....around that I keep learning more.
Personaly I find as my practice increases much of my real comprehension comes from his writings.
