I would like to take the opportunity to explain the translation procedure and the role of each position

Translator: translate articles from Chinese to English
     qualification
fair or better proficiency in English and Chinese
fair or better understanding in English/Chinese Buddhism term
note: welcome anyone that is willing to learn. No previous experience is required.

Editors: rewrite and revise translated articles
   qualification
strong and solid background in  English language
fair or better understanding in English Buddhism terms
note: a trial test may be given for this position

Proofreader: provide quality assurance on the final draft.
fair or better proficiency in English and  Chinese
   well-versed in Chinese/English Buddhism terms
  note:experiened senior translators only.

As you can see, the system is setup in such way that everyone is a key player in the translation procedure, yet the workload is distributed and shared. Prior to publishing any work,  a paper is reviewed by at least 3 members(
Translator/Editor/Proofreader) so we can eliminate possible mistakes and improve the accuracy. With the team effort, more of our beloved Guru's teachings can be learned!
