I have chosen this very special occasion, the enlightenment day of Avalokitsvara Bodhisattva, to coincide with the announcement of our new Team Leader for the next two years.
A very warm welcome to Mimosa. On behalf of the Padmakumara Translation Team, I am very honored to welcome you as new Team Leader!
A leader’s job is to look into the future, and to see the organization not as it is but as it can become and this is what our Mimosa is about.
We are very fortunate to have Mimosa in this position and have the opportunity to be lead by this wondrous visionary with very wise views and insights. One of her qualities is persistence, which is a quality she cultivates and encourages.
She takes the time to reach out, teach others, and helps to empower ones. She exposes the true potential that resides in all of us. It's been said, We make a living by what we get, but that we make a life by what we give.
With Mimosa as our official Team Leader let's wish the Buddha's and Bodhisattva's bless her success and that of her team.

First of all, thanks Brenda for supervising the election. I will serve my term from 7/27 to 2/27, a 6 months term. Then, team can decide a more permanent lead for the 2-years term.
My friends and I spent the whole day yesterday packaging the books for the library project. yesterday was the final day. We shipped out approximately one thousand Chinese books, 4 hundreds English books, to 175 different libraries in the 5 CONTINENTS. My goal is to cover 5 CONTINENTS. It is a big success.I wrote a long Chinese article for this project. It will be published on TBN on 8/1/02. When I rest enough, I will tell you more about the library project.
Couple of people who have worked very hard for the project have received incredible spiritual response, I would like to share it with you all. I didnt write the spiritual responses on the newspaper, so the spiritual experiences will be internet version only :-) I just need some rest first.
Last but not least, thank team for your support. I really wish that I can give you my undivided attention, but I am constantly involved with many projects. However, I hope through the different involvements, I will be the bridge between the Chinese/English students.
I mentioned the Padmakumara Translation Team on my Chinese article, and for every package I sent out I gave our website address. Most importantly, our project is the only one that sends out English books.
Perhaps, I will find my Richard Gere from this endeavor! hahah
I should slow down now...now the library project is done.... I will spend more time with the team

you can vote all you want for that but it takes like 2 years for the appeal to go through and then the review board needs to look over your request... oh the whole thing could get really messy... lawyers have to talk to lawyers... are you sure ur up for all that? lol
i was going to vote for myself anyways... ha ha like i have what it takes to be team leader... :'(
