Team

I have assigned every translator a book to translate, and the reason is to avoid duplicating the work. Some of you are progressing steadily, but some of you seem to be stuck.

When a translator joined the team, I pick up a short article on TBN just to find out more about the his/her translation
experience/background. Then, based on the initial work, I assigned a book. Well, it may be too fast even though I dont give deadline but I think that the pressure is showhow there.

I just read GM's latest book #158, Contemplatation Under the Lonely Light, which is a collection of articles posted on TBN.
Basically, we have translated some of the articles already. If you feel that you are not ready for a book, would you like to
try an alternative assignment?

You can pick or I will assign any article in book 158 as long as no one else is working on it. It is short so you may feel
a sense of accomplishment. The drawback is that it will then be collective work of many translators. If the book
is finally published, it *may* be published as "translated by Padmakumara Translation Team" vs listed every translator's name.  But, on the web, your name will be retained. Certainly, I know that you dont care about fame. Well, but sometimes it is a sense of accompliment. Well, the choice is yours.

My goal is to provide an alternative, so you will continue to translate :-)

Please email me privately if you want to do that. I will reassign your task.
