12/28-30, 2002 Liang Wan Repentance Liturgy at PLU

The Emperor Liang Repentance Liturgy is the king of all repentance liturgies. Sincere and devout practitioners of this liturgy will experience removal of karmic retribution and disasters, have their karmic enmities resolved, and obtain more wisdom and blessings. The power of this liturgy is great and inconceivable. In July 13th, 2001, Master Samantha received guidance from Kuan Yin Bodhisattva that she should conduct 18 sessions of Emperor Liang Repentance Liturgy within a period of 3 years. When she accomplishes this, she will be able to help relieve at least 30% of all accumulated karmic hindrances of herself as well as people who have registered for the liturgies. The many disasters the world is facing today are a result of the transgressions committed by sentient beings throughout numerous lifetimes. In addition to doing spiritual practices and engaging in good and virtuous deeds, people registering for this liturgy should also generate "a sense of shame" and fully repent for past transgressions.

12/31, 2002 Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva Flaming Mouth Bardo Ceremony at PLU (3:00pm)

The purpose of the Ksitigarbha Flaming Mouth Dharma Ceremony is to help beings in the Hungry Ghosts realm to enable them to become delivered. Apart from making food offerings to relieve their hunger, the most important purpose is to communicate to them the Dharma, so they will take refuge in the Buddha and accept the precepts. When the right point of view is developed, then they will be able to stop creating more transgressions and be able to be liberated from suffering and attain enlightenment.

12/31, 2002 New Year's Eve Party at PLU (8:00pm)
Dinner starts at 6:00pm

After a series of events aiming at reducing our karmic hindrances, we will celebrate the New Year with a New Year's Eve Party. There will be a dinner and variety show. After which there will be a "candle-lighting ceremony." We will sincerely pray together for our inner light to lit up and shine forth to dispel the darkness and ignorance built up in our hearts from time immemorial.
