The meditation retreat is not organized by our school, but by a Zen school that my friend goes to. Is it ok? I went to another one before held by a Thailand Buddhist temple and one of the ladies told me to breath the way she was teaching me, but i didn't take her advise. I meditated w/ the nine round breathing, because i didn't want to go against Guru's teachings. Can anyone please elaborate? I was wondering if our school would hold meditation retreats in the future. i think that would be pretty useful. Thanks.
