Where should I post if I need help?

Dear Friends,

I was brought to a temple with many believers of Master Lu in Singapore. My friend told me that Master Lu's visit to Singapore, many years ago was magnificent and many people had seek his help to solve their problems.

When I came to know about it I was excited, because I have a problem and need to seek Master for advise.

Unfortunately, again my friend told me that Master is not active as before and he is having retreat, and no one knows where he's about.

My Question
can I post my request for help to my problem in this forum, will anyone response or help? I believe in the Buddha's teachings, I've not been thru "initialization" but simply chant the Buddha Mantra daily, will that help?

It really depends on the nature of your question. There are many dharma brothers and sisters on the forum that will be more than happy to share their personal experiences with you and point you to the right direction.

However, if you need some specific guidance, you may want to consult with a local master. There are masters in Singapore right?

Thanks very much for replying to my posting, I have visited the temple recently and spoke to a SI FU (master) whom is a visitor from Australia. He chanted some mantra and instructed me to read the Kao Wan Kwan Yin mantra. I am doing the chanting twice a day diligently. Hope it helps.

Sincerely hopes all the prayer will helps to bring my wife and children home. I really missed them, I wish them well.

Dear friends,

I am touched by the warm from the people of this forum, really thankful to the words and soothing messages from all of you.

I appreciate if any darma brothers or sisters could tell me how to pray for family harmony. My wife and me is undergoing a legal separation which will lead to a divorce.

I failed my duties as a husband and let her friends lead her to the dark forces believing in spirit and strange practices.

My kids ( 1 and 4 years old) are also lead to join the group. The activities from the group has broken my family relationship.

My wife has been convinced by her friends in soul mates search. She repeatedly speaks of going to heaven and not to reincairnate. She believes she is lead by a more powerful god whom will bring her to a stage further than Buddha enlightment.

In some ocassions, she was lead by her group leader to have physical contact with a total stranger whom proclaimed to be her past life husband.

I am disappointed by her foolish reaction, she has lost her sense of judgement, and repeatedly seek advises and spiritual consultings from her group leader in all things like buying a car, kids going to school, medicine for her illnesses and monetary investment.

We lost hundreds of thousand dollars to foolish investment by the group leader and my wife was pleased when she was told by leader that her lost will be more if she had not been blessed and lead by the group beliefs.

Friends, my stories are real, and I strictly believe that there may be similar people out suffering like me. I hope if you know any prayer or mantra I can recite to enhance my family harmony and bonding. Please email me.

I love my wife and kids, I really hopes she wakes up and return to the real blessing of buddha, believes in him, hears his teachings and  have a happy family.

Marcus, the family situation you just described indicates, to me, that your wife and kids may have been fallen into a cult group.
You can consult a Buddhist Master in regards to what you can do spiritually.  However, I feel you should also consult with your local authority to investigate whether or not
the group your wife belongs to is a cult or not and what they can do to help you.

If the group is a cult group, then you need to find a way of countering the group's psychological influence they have used on her and your kids.

Do a search on Google.com you will find websites that may assist you further with your situation.

Can you provide more information about this group your wife belongs too?  Perhaps, it can help others on this forum to avoid this group if they are asked to join or visit.

I did a check on the google, found the group was reported by some to be a anti christ group, I do not want to make a big scene, and believes the practises my wife is experiencing is result of some group memebers and not the GROUP as a whole. I have strong feelings these group members are attempting to control other people unfortunately my wife, unaware, is one the controlled people. They recruited people whom are high profile like lawyers, business manager or physically strong people to be their personal bodyguard.

They tried to win your trust by sharing their supernatural experiences and visits your house and "help" to clear your house of all unpleasant ghostly residents, later claims the house is spiritually clean.

They befriend you at the early stage, and slowly associate closer relationship by swearing to bonding of "god brother" and "god sister" and "god parents" to your children.

With the "god" relationship to your family, they tried interfere your family affairs in a subtle way giving "good" advises to improve family relationship, health or reduce bad karma etc.

Furthermore these people have a ultimate aim, to control other people and manage them for productive and economic opportunity. They rip money by telling their members and friends to buy health products from them and in return these people gets excellent high profit margin from these goods they sell.

Sometimes when we told them that other brands of similar products is much cheaper, they would explain that the products are spiritually chosen and blessed and will have better effects.

My wife was advised repeatedly by her god sister "a group member" that her current company will be in bad shape since 2 years back, she should resign her job and help her god sister to run a business company that teaches All Wellness activities eg meditation, visualisuation, open energy channels, initialization and third eye opening etc. Today, my wife's current company is still running and expanding.

I am reciting my true experience, and believe that there may be some black magic or voodo running behind her. I really hope my diligent practice and chanting of Master Lu mantra daily will help to clear all these unpleasant forces. I hope in no time, my wife will be awaken and experience the true practises of Buddha herself.

My heart truly goes out to you in your situation.  I know what you were speaking of because unfortunately it happens everywhere in the world.  

Your wife is really being taken for a ride by the people mentioned above.  She is so psychologically persuaded by them and it's a shame that she can't see it.  

While you do your part to cultivate and pray to Kuan Yin, you can help her come to her senses by talking to her.  I hope she is not so absorbed by them that she is beyond your help.  If she is, then the only person who can help her is herself because she will have to realize it on her own, and by then it might be too late.  She might lose everything she once had by the time she finally realizes it.

With your prayers, I also pray that the deities will send her some kind of sign or experience to help her realize what those people are doing to her.  

My personal thoughts:

-When it comes to this lifetime, nothing from the past matters.   What has passed is in the past and one should only be concerned about the present.  
Your wife married you and bore your children in this lifetime.  What's the big deal if those people found her "supposed" past life husband?  
Sentient beings reincarnate so many times that every person you pass by on the street could have been your mother in one of your lifetimes.  

(I'm sorry, I'm just deeply disturbed by the things these people say and do)

-When it comes to enlightenment, how far can one possibly go to surpass it?  How can these people claim to cultivate to a stage beyond enlightenment when they themselves haven't even enlightened?  I would love to find a sutra written by the Buddha that mentions a stage beyond enlightenment.
I think making such a claim is going way too far.

Dear friends,

I have not taken refuge in Grand Master Lu yet, as I  was troubled and mentally unsure what I am suppose to do.

I am pretty confuse, hope the master can help with my problem, and with a clearer mind, I will be able to move on in life, take refuge in Grand Master Lu and serious practice in the teachings of Buddha.

Thanks for the many caring responses from all of you, my darma brothers and sisters. I am touched by your real sincere feelings thou we are many miles apart, I believe the true Buddha way will help me and I will constantly recite the mantra of Grand Master Lu and Goddness of Mercury, KuanYin.
