wonder if this is a glimpse of emptiness

while i was chanting Guru's mantra, i suddenly realized that all is one.  i was wondering who was saving who.  Was Guru saving me or me saving myself?  and that "i" don't really exist.  i just consist of different conditions.  But that is just a glimpse.  i also know that i have alot of ignorance.  

i also had a dream the other day.  i thought i saw a man and he impressed me as a spirit of some sort.  he was trying to hit me w/ a stack of paper w/ patterns on it.  each time he did that i felt a some sort of force or wind.  i just kept on yelling Guru's mantra at him and then i woke up still chanting the mantra.  can anyone give me thoughts on these 2 experiences?  thanks.

I don't believe that you really need anyone to explain these dreams to you. You already know their significance, I feel.
The only useful thing that is unclear is the man, or spirit, and what he and the  papers represent.
That would be uniquely personal to you, and only you can trace the associations. If you are a student, or if your work involves a lot of paperwork, then that might be an explanation.
Someone could be overloading you or 'hitting' you with a stack of papers concerning work. Or it might be that you feel that you are being pressured to accept something (maybe a religious viewpoint, a plan, an explanation...whatever those papers & patterns represent symbollically to you) which you are reluctant to accept. Whatever it represents, it is a stress point which you have psychicly dealt with through the use of mantra.
Also, chanting a mantra in a dream is a very good thing, I think. It shows that it is running through your subconcious mind stream....a very useful thing, particularly at the time of your death. To remain focussed in the chaos of a dream is not too different from remaining focussed in the chaos of the bardo, I would think. In both everything is fluid and without fixed references.

that stack of paper is similar to the gold paper money that we burn.  it has red patterns on them.  don't know if it means anything.  thanks though.
