Here are a couple of things regarding ordination:
1) All disciples who wish to ordain must first arrange
an interview for ordination with the True Buddha Foundation. The contact information is:
True Buddha Foundation,
17102 NE 40th Ct,
Redmond, WA 98052
USA
Phone: (425) 885-7573
Fax: (425) 883-7360
2) Becoming ordained is a very serious decision to make. Upon entering the monastic life, one must be fully prepared to embrace the dharma by incorporating diligent practice and hard work into one's monastic career.
One must be able to give up the life of a layperson and live a pure, wholesome, life by ultimately serving one's Sangha and helping sentient beings.
3) According to most Tibetan Tantric Buddhist traditions, the monks observe a total of 253 vows. In True Buddha School, monks and nuns observe equally a total of 33 vows, namely:
8 Parajika
18 Pataka
7 Duskrta
