Hello all.

I wish to relate an experience to you all that happened to me.

I met with a quite exuberant friend of mine on monday.  He is a Lawyer.  (Strange I have such good Lawyer friends) Usually I spend time with him every 6 months or so.  He is quite the walking encyclopedia.  :)  We had lunch and later he wanted to visit some petstores in our super mall.  He owns some cockatiels and lovebirds.  The first pet store we went to he spent much time lecturing about cockatiels and taming one.

It took about 20 minutes of wondering around, before I could feel the spirits of animals that have died in the store.
I did quick Armor Protection behind some rabbit food, and proceeded with the deliverance mantra and mudra and visualation.  A few minutes later I felt fine again.

We proceeded to the next pet store to see the love birds, he particularly had his eye on one that he wanted to tame.
Again I did the deliverance mantra, mudra and visualization.

To my great relief we left the petstore.
I was still supified.  I had not thought that I could possibly encounter this where I was.

I love animals but no longer own pets by choice, as I am preparing for my Bodhisattva vows.   I did not expect feeling such distaste for seeing animals in cages as I had never felt bothered by it before.

I felt a need to analize my feelings.  Perhaps I was feeling like an animal in a cage or perhaps another lesson in equanity.  :)

*LOL*  Not yet.
Although it would not surprise me if he would be in the future.

hehe...this reminds me of all my pets. Strange I don't feel anything when I go into pet stores. I have had so many pets before...such as goldfish, siamese fighting fish, turtle, newt...anything slimy except snakes I like. But actually the strangest was when I had a dream of visiting a petstore and buying a hamster. The next day I really wanted to buy a hamster but did not think it was practical or a good enough reason to because I had dreamt of it the previous night. Later on I visited a pet store and saw a hamster and something compelled me to buy it! I did buy it and he is the best $3.99 I ever spent! He's my son. Ahh...funny how karma works.

A month or two after that I had a dream I was in a pet store and bought a guinea pig! This time for sure it was very impractical...I don't have time to take care of a guinea pig too. Sigh...maybe next time.

Hi Mimosa...I missed all of you! Sigh...I've been so distracted lately. Hot summer weather...new car...no school...I always want to go out and play. Only lately I realized I have neglected the most important thing such as group cultivation and personal cultivation...but hopefully now I have my head back on straight and realize my priorities!

Actually, you didnt miss anything. Sometimes we have to go astray and realize what is importance to us right?

I am glad that you are back!!!!!!

~~hug~~~
