Hello all.
I wish to relate an experience to you all that happened to me.
I met with a quite exuberant friend of mine on monday. He is a Lawyer. (Strange I have such good Lawyer friends) Usually I spend time with him every 6 months or so. He is quite the walking encyclopedia. :) We had lunch and later he wanted to visit some petstores in our super mall. He owns some cockatiels and lovebirds. The first pet store we went to he spent much time lecturing about cockatiels and taming one.
It took about 20 minutes of wondering around, before I could feel the spirits of animals that have died in the store.
I did quick Armor Protection behind some rabbit food, and proceeded with the deliverance mantra and mudra and visualation. A few minutes later I felt fine again.
We proceeded to the next pet store to see the love birds, he particularly had his eye on one that he wanted to tame.
Again I did the deliverance mantra, mudra and visualization.
To my great relief we left the petstore.
I was still supified. I had not thought that I could possibly encounter this where I was.
I love animals but no longer own pets by choice, as I am preparing for my Bodhisattva vows. I did not expect feeling such distaste for seeing animals in cages as I had never felt bothered by it before.
I felt a need to analize my feelings. Perhaps I was feeling like an animal in a cage or perhaps another lesson in equanity. :)
