Mr. Smith

I remember that you corrected me on the word "shrubby" before. As I can recall, you told me that I should use it as singular, not as a plural right?

is it true?

for example...
"
As soon as I walked into forest shrubberies, mosquitoes would immediately attack me. "

I ran into this word again..I want to double check it with you.

:)
Yes, you have total rekall.
Shrubbery = a group or planting of shrubs
Shrub = a many-stemmed woody plant of relatively low height.

so, if wanting to use a plural noun, you could have
"... walked into the forest shrubs."
or, staying with the shrubbery word,
"... walked into the forest shrubbery."

now others may contradict me!
